These first illustrations are just quick sketches for the book I'm illustrating.

These two below are characters by Emmanuel Briad and Meg Parke that I have illustrated.

Looking at these again, I'd really like to fix the arms on both of them. With the one on the left, I think I'm going to re-draw it, but try and make it more dramatic.

Two late updates in a row. Ugh. I don't have much to show this week, unfortunately. I have been drawing a lot, but there just hasn't been anything that shows improvement or quality. I decided to upload this series of sketches because I thought they were interesting.
This family I know has a couple of peacocks in there backyard, and I thought it'd be interesting to draw them now, while I didn't have to pay to see peacocks in a zoo. They have this really interesting neck that kind of looks like two ovals. The ovals squish together when the bird brings its neck close to it's body.

One of the birds (Flap) hated the family cats and would charge at them they got too close and would pace around his enclosure for a few minutes after they left.

late

We were doing the "black box" project, and by the end of it I was pretty sick of drawing boxes. Then I though, "hey, I wonder if I could make drawing boxes fun..." So I tried drawing some of my friends as box-people. It turned out to be very fun.

More updates

These were gestures I did of the players (and one fan) of a soccer game my brother was playing in. It proved to be difficult, as soccer players don't tend to stay still for very long.

Just an experiment with color in pointillism at school. I like the fish, but I'm not a fan at all of the background.

I wanted to remove the two cartoony characters in the middle because I know the anatomy is really off, but GIMP isn't working for me right now so they'll stay until I can get it working again.

This last one is just to show a color piece that I did.

Some gestures and hand studies.

Waaaay overdue update

These are various sketches for different things. The horses and dog sketches are for a book I'm illustrating, everything else is pretty well for the Ashcroft History Animation I'm working on; including the story boarded first scene.
